She has also been a member of the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) and The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh since 2005.
Anu’s passion is oral surgery, and she enjoys being able to help her patients with bespoke, gentle and precise care. She loves delivering a good smile, and making her patients happy gives her a boost. Anu has integrated implant and digital dentistry at Hurst Dental & Implant Clinic, using the latest technology and techniques to enhance the patient experience.
Anu’s favourite part of her job is the interaction with people and hearing about their life stories. These inspire her and motivate her. Some or most people have had struggles in life and the power of human resilience always blows her mind and inspires her further. At Hurst Dental & Implant Clinic, there are many elderly patients and talking to them about their younger days makes her day.
Outside of work, Anu enjoys reading, swimming and gymming. Recently she learnt to play the piano and she is also learning Italian. It goes without saying though that making a hearty curry on a Sunday and sharing it with her family tops everything!
