Why Dentures Fall Short
Traditional dentures or false rest on the gums and are held in place by a combination of suction , unaesthetic metal clips and the underlying jawbone shape. Over time, natural wear and tear things work against them:
- Bone loss. Without tooth roots to stimulate the jaw, bone gradually shrinks — which is why dentures that fit well in year one often feel loose by year three.
- Reduced biting force. Most denture wearers chew at a fraction of the strength of natural teeth, limiting the foods they can comfortably enjoy.
- Daily maintenance. Anxiety of dentures getting loose when socialising, adhesives, soaking, and nightly removal are constant reminders that these aren’t your real teeth.
None of this is a personal failing — it’s simply the physics of resting a plate on shrinking gum tissue.

How Teeth-in-a-Day Solves the Problem
Teeth-in-a-Day (also known as full-arch implant-supported bridges) lets us to replace an entire arch of missing or failing teeth with a fixed, permanent set . The teeth that look, feel, and function like your own again.
Instead of resting on the gums, a full-arch implant bridge is anchored directly into the jawbone using as few as four to six strategically placed dental implants in the upper and or lower jaw bone. A custom-fitted, natural-looking provisional bridge is then fixed on top on the same day.
The process typically looks like this:
- Consultation & 3D Scan — A CT scan maps your jawbone density and nerve positioning to plan exact implant placement.
- Implant Placement — The implants are placed under local anaesthetic or sedation, often in under two hours.
- Same-Day Provisional Bridge — A full set of fixed, functional teeth is fitted the same day, so you never leave without teeth.
- Healing & Final Bridge — Over the following months, the implants fully fuse with the bone (osseointegration), after which your final, permanent bridge is fitted.
The result: teeth that don’t move, don’t need adhesive, and let you bite into an apple again without a second thought.

Who can have this treatment?
Teeth-in-a-Day is ideal for patients who:
- Wear a full or partial denture that feels loose, uncomfortable, or embarrassing
- Have several failing or heavily restored teeth in one or both arches
- Have experienced bone loss but still have enough bone (or are suitable for bone-preserving implant angles)
- Want a long-term, fixed solution rather than ongoing denture adjustments and relines
A short consultation and scan will confirm suitability — most patients are surprised by how many options are actually available to them.

Real Confidence, Restored
Patients who make this transition consistently describe the same feeling: relief. Relief from worrying about their teeth during a meal out, relief from covering their mouth when they laugh, relief from the daily ritual of adhesives and soaking cups. It’s not just a dental upgrade – it’s getting a piece of your life back.
